My current work, Drip, Emerge, Flow, explores the passage of time through visual language of fluidity and transformation. I am particularly drawn to the image of paint dripping down female faces as an intentional gesture that mirrors how time shapes, softens, and reveals layers of identity. These drips are more than a technique; they are metaphors for memory, erosion, emotion, and change. My focus on female subjects comes from a personal place and a desire to explore the complexity of feminine experience, resilience, and vulnerability. By capturing moments where time feels visible, I invite viewers to engage with both the physicality of the medium and the emotional resonance of the subject. My vision is to create work that balances precision with unpredictability, presence with decay, and beauty with impermanence.Through this practice, I aim to offer a quiet space for reflection on who we are, how we evolve, and what traces we leave behind.
Scratchboard etching is a detailed art technique where a sharp tool is used to scratch away black ink on a white clay board, revealing light lines and creating highly textured images. It focuses on capturing the natural highlights, shadows, and surface textures of each creature.
